I need to dice some oak into chips, and this really would be far easier ans safer with a bandsaw. Buying or even hiring is extortionate for something that might take 30mins or so

I'm guessing that you and I have different understanding of "chips" when in relation to wood: if I wanted woodchips, I'd throw some wood through a woodchipper...

not got a chopsaw or tablesaw around thst you could use? not as accurate as a bandsaw but might work for what you want.

What do you want to do with the bits? Obviously if you're actually going to make dominos you'll need an accurate set up.

I planning on taking a blow torch to them. The bits I have don't take kindly to a chop saw.
