Just been on a call to a lodge, and always takes the gun this time of year. Just been shot and paunched you can't get fresher than that.

I`ve been lamping but only seriously in the last week or 2 and there has been no sign of lactating/foetuses in the does and there are V V few tiddlers.

Hope to get to grips with the burrows soon but will have to cut the growth back and get the freezer and the smoker sorted.

Starting lamping again soonish, been thining out the bunnie over the summer but not that many, getting over run again now. Any air gunners / ferreters in the south cheshire/north shropshire area who are free for dispatching bunnies i need a hand, PM me

Where I live there aren't dozens of rabbits, there are thousands .
I can see 50 to 60 rabbits in a four acre field in the daytime !
Shotguns do frighten rabbits off but if you have hundreds of acres to go on , who cares ?

That's what It's like here, but I am not allowed to use anything other than a air rifle for obvious reasons.

And there's always just one more exit to the warren than you thought!!! And those rabbits run straight for the newby who isn't about to club it over the head! They're not stupid.....hence the bullit proof vests Pete
