As some of you know I'm in the proccess of setting up a home catering business. I would like to pick your brains for name ideas.
Every time we come up with a good one someones already using it.
Our ideas were:

Bespoke Catering(gone)
Character Catering (bit of a mouth full)

Fuzzy Melon ( too 1970's porno)
Duck soup (Fay said no!)

I think Custom Caterers is free, I quite like that.

We aim to specialize (at first) in dinner parties in peoples homes, restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own (they do the dishes ), that sort of thing.

Any Ideas?

Simple but good quality cuisine.
A lot of my expience has been in what people might call Gastro pubs, although I was trained in a Michelin Star enviroment.

We will cook whatever the customer wants, thats why I wanted Bespoke but someones got it.

I will be cooking seasonal produce and using local suppliers as much as I can. If people want totally organgic, I will more than happy to lay it on but it will come at a price.
I won't be promoting myself as an organic caterer for fanancial reasons.

so another word similar to bespoke then?

Tailormade?

Couture?

Something-Dining might be nicer than Something-Catering? To get across the personal, intimate touch.

I agree. The "fine dining" idea seems more appropriate. "Catering" suggests lunch in a marquee, rather than an intimate meal.

Good points.

How about Caterers?

The reason I would like to keep Catering/Cateres in the name, is that when we expand I can keep the name.
In the future (when I can afford a kitchen) I would be more than happy to do the Marquee wedding thing, good quality though.

I'm with the ladies here - go for fine-dining rather than caterers. If you expand later, then you can add a brand.

Give yourself a name you like, that doesn't have to be too descriptive, and then have a tagline underneath?

Eg.

Walnut Grove Kitchen
----------------------------

Fine dining and bespoke catering services
