Yep - it appears to be pretty widespread now (understatement). The pres of my local BKA has just discovered it in one of his apiaries.

Seemingly the bee inspectors, when checking for EFB, also discovered American Foulbrood (AFB) in some hives in Perthshire.
Best place to get info is the SBA website linked by eddy current.
