Dunno when and who but they';re definitely non native

Everything is non native, it just depends on how far back you want to check. I would say that as rabbits have been here since Roman times they have a right to be called native. Otherwise we may have to call roads and plumbing 'new fangled foreign inventions'

Got a TX200HC too, best airgun full stop. Not quite as accurate with it as my 410 but no hassle with air tanks etc, much nice to shoot than the 410 though, less clinical[/quote]

I'm sure there are quite a few Weihrauch owners who might disagree with you there.
Granted out of the box the TX200 beats the hw77/97.... the pro sport being even better...
However after a bit of dark arts trickery that is spring air rifle tuning (venom/v-mach, macarri & airmasters) an old hw77 can be made to outshoot anything, just, on a good day.
Very satifying.
Very Very heavy...
I always feel accuracy wise that a 1p coin is a good target size, sufficiently smaller than most brains, so if you can hit it, then you should be OK with quarry. I stick to 25 yards and below, because that is what I'm comfortable with.
Yes of course I could spend mega money on an FAC Pre Charge and shoot .177 pellets out to 50-60 yards......but It wouldn't feel quite the same...Plus if it should go slightly wrong, that's alot further to run to deliver the coup de gras.

Just my thoughts on the matter..

a bunny question
why are the local rabbits so unevenly distributed through the area .they live in all the local habitats but in discrete areas .
i feel a map of bunny land would look very polka dot
is this normal ?
